Bishop Eton will be open for private prayer on Mondays and Friday's from 2pm to 5pm
Please don't come to the church if you or someone in your house has COVID-19 Symptoms, if you are at clinical risk from COVID-19 or if you have been advised to shield
As of the 6th of July some churches in the Pastoral Area will be holding public Masses. Please note that some of these parishes will be using a booking system ie you will not be able to just turn up at the church. As Fr Tim explained in his message in his 2nd July message click here we are not yet ready to open either Bishop Eton Church for public Mass. This will only be possible if we have sufficient numbers of volunteers to ensure the health and safety of all our parishioners and visitors.
Please do not volunteer if you fall into any of the Covid-19 'vulnerable' categories identified by the Government/Public Health Department.
CAUTIOUSLY OPENING OUR CHURCHES
The Archdiocese has produced a leaflet and video to explain the churches you will see as we open up our churches
INVITATION TO PRAYER EACH EVENING AT 7 PM
We aim to be united in prayer by inviting everyone to set aside a short period in their homes at 7pm. Say the our father and the Hail Mary and make an act of Spiritual Communion (For a Family prayer leaflet click here, for the original spiritual communion click here)

DIAL A MASS
Please pass this information on to anyone who would appreciate this service and especially anyone without internet access.
The Diocese of Middlesborough, funded by the Knights of St Columba, have initiated a Dial-a-Mass service where you can dial a telephone number and listen to Mass. Due to the funding by Knights of St Columba, calls will be charged at LOCAL RATE and will cost about 34p per Mass, each Mass being just under an hour
All they have to do is dial: 01642 130 120 and listen whenever they wish to hear Mass.

Or Hugamug foodbank in Gateacre. This is a local foodbank set up by the family of a former SFX pupil and running under the auspices of the Liverpool Council. They accept food donations at particular times and make home deliveries.
The SVP will maintain phone contact with the people they regularly visit. If you would like phone support at this time please contact . They will endeavour to help but may need to refer you to the council helpline.
If you have a neighbour/friend who does not have internet access but may need some support, please ask their permission beforehand and then, pass on their details to the SVP. We know that there is a lot of goodwill out there and that everyone is doing ‘their bit’ so keep praying and supporting your families, friends, parishioners and wider community in any way you can, but always staying safe and keeping to all the directives.
