I am acutely aware that some families will be experiencing financial hardship following the lockdown, and therefore fully understand if you temporarily suspend your monthly standing order to Bishop Eton.

For others who are still in a position to contribute to parish finances, I would like to remind you how you can still make your offering, in safety, to Bishop Eton during this time of social distancing.

Please do not bring or send your Sunday giving envelopes to the Monastery.

  • For those of you who usually use offertory envelopes or give cash, if at all possible, would you please set up a monthly standing order amounting to your usual weekly donation
  • .If you are able to arrange a standing order, please contact the finance team by email. The team will provide you with the relevant account details on  Many thanks to all those who have already set up such arrangements.
  • The Archdiocese has also set up an online giving website for either one-off or regular monthly donations. The parish has its own unique link and there is a photograph of our church to provide additional reassurance that donors are donating to the correct parish. To use this facility please use the link: https://donate.liverpoolcatholic.org.uk/our-ladys-of-the-annunciation-bishop-eton

There is a detailed guide on how to use the site at https://donate.liverpoolcatholic.org.uk/how-to-donate

CTMH UPDATE 15.4.20

From Peter the co-ordinator of the CTMH bulletin.

I hope you all were able to engage in some of the Easter Celebrations.  I would like to thank those of you who have sent in suggestions of things that may be included in this letter, there has been a longer gap since the last letter as I have been busy, but here are those contributions.

If you have anything to add that may help readers during this time, or services helping those in need please let me know.

I am not putting details of Church Services etc online as there are so many, and if you have not found them already you will be able to obtain details from your own church,  website or social media.

Another place to search is YouTube as many churches have put recordings of their services on You Tube.

May we encourage all who are grappling with the technology and assisting in the production of these services, other activities online and newsletters, enabling us to join together in worship.
