CTMH UPDATE 15.4.20

From Peter the co-ordinator of the CTMH bulletin.

I hope you all were able to engage in some of the Easter Celebrations.  I would like to thank those of you who have sent in suggestions of things that may be included in this letter, there has been a longer gap since the last letter as I have been busy, but here are those contributions.

If you have anything to add that may help readers during this time, or services helping those in need please let me know.

I am not putting details of Church Services etc online as there are so many, and if you have not found them already you will be able to obtain details from your own church,  website or social media.

Another place to search is YouTube as many churches have put recordings of their services on You Tube.

May we encourage all who are grappling with the technology and assisting in the production of these services, other activities online and newsletters, enabling us to join together in worship.

An Easter Message from Archbishop Malcolm

Archbishop Malcolm has sent us an Easter Message click here to read it.

HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL

Our covetous world,

Stripped of all pretentions,

Trembles before invisibly marauding enemy.

For the first time since God knows when,

It is not the power-hungry territorial countries

Spreading unrest and even fear.

This secretive, all embracing entity

Has changed our civilised countries

Into ghostly communities.

Our homes for many, have become

A place of isolation

Missing the joy and solace

Of those who make life worth living.

No longer the sounds of children’s voices

Echo through the air.
